FAQ’s

Q: What is the music schedule for the event?
A: We will have music featured from Quickie Mart, Vox & The Hound, Sweet Crude and Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen.

Q: How do the tickets work?
A: New Orleans on Tap is free admission with donations welcome to help even more animals. Tickets can be purchased in advance with discounts or at the event, and then redeemed for drinks.

Q: Can I buy the whole beer?
A: Yes, some beers are available in larger sizes for more tickets.

Q: What is included with the VIP pass?
A: This year, New Orleans on Tap 2014′s VIP tent is sponsored by Sweetwater Brewing. All VIP’s receive early entry at noon, access to exclusive beers (tickets are still required to sample), a New Orleans on Tap koozie, VIP-only restrooms and handwash station, Mist Works Cool Misters, special seating courtesy of Bratz Y’all, and the chance to meet brewers in the VIP area.

Q: Will there be food?
A: Yes, we will have several local vendors featuring a variety of festival food available for cash purchase. We will have an ATM available on site.

Q: Can I bring in outside drinks and food?
A: No, this is a fundraiser and we appreciate your consideration for helping the animals.

Q: What about parking?
A: Parking will be limited within City Park, so we suggest public transportation, cabs, carpooling and biking to the event. We will even have a new bicycle parking lot thanks to our sponsor, New Belgium Brewing Company. No parking allowed on the grass by the streets (hidden sprinkler systems could be damaged).

Q: How do you monitor underage drinking?
A: Everyone will need to have their IDs scanned at the entrance and receive a wristband. Only New Orleans on Tap attendees with wristbands may purchase or consume alcohol.

Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Sure, but no aggressive dogs allowed. All dogs must be on leash, and please make sure they have a safe way home..

Q: Is the event family friendly?
A: Yes, we have food and non-alcoholic drinks available.

Q: Can I bring in folding chairs or blankets?
A: Yes, there will be live music so more reason to make yourself comfortable.

Q: What about the weather?
A: Updates on the weather will be provided as we are closer to the event.

Q: What if it rains?

Q: What if I do not like beer?
A: That’s fine; we also have wine, margaritas and non-alcoholic beverages.
